My wife’s Town & Country had a cracked headlight, and was full of water. I had mended it earlier this year, but apparently it hasn’t held up. So, off to the yard I went, in search of a driver’s side headlight for a 2005 T&C.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve been to a pick & pull site, so I wandered around for a while, looking at some Ford Focus’, as mine needs a new sun-glass holder for the overhead console, but no luck in that department. Then I started to think about getting some new to me rims for winter use, or maybe a new temp. spare, as the one in my trunk is pretty well used up. Anyway, I did manage to find one headlight, at the very back of the MOPAR section that would fit the T&C. It is a bit different than the Caravan headlights, so I had to make sure I had the right one. $35.00 and the wife has a nice, moisture free headlamp. It even looks better than the one still on the van. Not a bad way to spend an hour or two.

Very cool! I love going to the salvage yard even if it is to just look around and see what I can find.

I need the sunglass holder for my Mariner too, but nothing has shown up in the U-pick yards yet. You’d think that between all of the Escapes and Mariners that were sold one would come through appropriately equipped, but no such luck.

Cool! Hoping to go the only Pick and Pull around here next time I am in Halifax...there are none closer and Halifax is an hour from me. I also need a drivers’ side headlight as mine is cracked and letting a littl moisture in. Both of mine are currently starting to get a little full near the top edge from UV damage as well, so if I could find a pair in good nick for cheap enough, I might get both.

Also need the rear hatch interior trim from the drivers side for my hatch door as well...

U-Pull yards are like amusement parks for gearheads, but cheaper. $2 entry for hours of entertainment (and bargains)!
